About BBKS High School

Founded in 1999 by Mr. MW Mohlala, BBKS began as an unorthodox society registered with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC). In 2016, it transitioned to open BBKS Academy, which started with Foundation Phase classes and progressed through to Grade 7 by 2020. The school evolved into BBKS High School in 2021, beginning its journey with Grade 8 and adding a new grade each year, with the first matric class set to graduate in 2025.

Both BBKS Academy and BBKS High School have established strong footholds in academics and extracurricular activities, consistently participating and excelling at Circuit, District, Provincial, and National levels. The schools have achieved remarkable success in various competitions, from sports tournaments to academic challenges, securing positions among the best in South Africa and beyond. Their commitment to excellence was also illustrated in the Conquesta Olympiad and multiple success stories in national and international spelling bee competitions.

BKS High School is thrilled to host the 7th Annual Alphas and Alpharines Foundation Career Exhibition. Mr. MW Mohlala, Founder & CEO of BBKS High School, said: “We are thrilled at BBKS High School to host AAF’s Careers Exhibition where they will be providing invaluable career guidance to our learners through experts in the various industries. This exciting opportunity underscores our school’s commitment to empowering students with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed decisions about their future careers. The management will ensure to invite the neighbouring schools’ FET classes so that they don’t miss out on this golden opportunity. We are certain that AAF’s expertise will undoubtedly inspire and motivate our learners, broadening their understanding of the various career paths available. We also believe that this collaboration will have a profound impact on our students’ academic and professional trajectories, and we look forward to a fruitful and enriching engagement with the AAF. The participation of AAF at BBKS as a host is by default a crucial and influential partner with BBKS High School going forward.”
