MmaHiiNe Environmental Consultants (PTY) Ltd was founded in 2017 as a result of the increasing demand for Environmental Management Monitoring and advice for developers in South Africa.South Africa is still listed as one of the developing countries in the world, which relies intensively on extractive industries, such as mining and infrastructure construction. Such industries eradicate the natural environment and affect fauna, flora, and human’s habitats. As such, sustainable development principles must be put in place through implementing Socio-Economic, Ecological Integrity, Ecosystem Connection, Risk Aversion and Precaution, Accountability and Responsibility, Duty of Care and Integration and Participation of developers, government and native people. Moreover, this will all be governed by the enforcement of the National Environmental Act, Biodiversity Act, Health and Safety Acts and many more.To ease the weight off developers’ shoulders and to ensure low risk, high economic benefit developments, we will conduct all environmental management, risk management and sustainable development projects to ensure that all development projects comply with the National Environmental Legislation.
